May 8, 2010 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Competition Begins
Welcome back for another Great Competition in Kentucky's best Tournament! We are looking forward to seeing old friends and some of the new up and coming Jiu-Jitsu Talent compete for the right to be called State Champion. This is our twelfth year of the Bluegrass Open and this year promises to be the best ever and we are excited to announce many exciting changes. Here are some of the things you can expect.
You will compete faster than ever!
We have obtained additional mats and there will be eight rings instead of four. You will be on the mat faster than ever, so be ready to go!
This tournament will have Gi and no Gi competition.
New Location
The Spring Tournament will be held at Fern Creek High School.
New Medal Design
We will be awarding a Great Medal this year. For those not familiar with our tournament, we give away a great looking large 3" medal.

Do you like to know where you are going to compete and in what order? Our tournament is well known for being the most well run tournament around. Come see for yourself.
Kids, Teenagers, Women, Men's Purple & Brown and Executive and Directors Men's Competitors Go First
Parents, you will not have to wait all day. Kids and Teenager competitions go off first in Ring 1,2,3, and 4. Please go to our Divisions page to see where and when you compete.
Discounts for Kids and Families
Are you looking for a well run tournament with lots of kids for your child to compete with? We have one of the largest kids divisions around. Kids are only $50 to compete. Families receive a discount. There is a family discount of $10 off per person per family. For example if a father and son compete Dad pays $65 and son would pay $40 to compete.
